Alittle misleading...we thought it was going to play songs that the characters sang from their shows. Instead you get books with these random songs that has color shapes that you use to enter into the machine to hear the song on that page. The graphics on the MINI screen are so outdated and a under reading age needs a parent to pretty much guide them through the whole process ..until they at least get the gist of the color coding association...BUT IF YOU DONT ENTER THE 3 colors into the machine one right after the other quickly it will not play that requested song. And like I said they're random songs from life with a picture of the character showing...NOT songs from those characters shows like a child would be programmed to know already from watching and EXPECTING those songs. My 3 year old is the youngest of four so she picks up things more quickly so after awhile she understood what they needed from her but still can't press the color buttons fast enough to get the song she wants ..and lets face it any kid over 5-6 isn't going to want this in the first place esp once they see how basic it is. But my daughter pretends it's her radio and plays with it in her own way so it got to stay in our home with a pile of 6 song books...a bit ridiculous for a 3 year old!
I bought this for my toddler that loves to sing Disney songs. It’s too complicated for a toddler to match the symbols in the correct order in the book, on the machine. The microphone isn’t very loud, you can’t hear yourself in it at all. It’s cute but since it required me to do all the button pushing, my little diva kid quickly lost interest in this toy.
The songs on this are cute and my toddler loves to dance to the music. It can be pretty tricky for kiddos to figure out to choose the song they want (a 3-4 button code exists for each song. You push the shape buttons in a specific order in order to choose your song). The microphone is also pretty quiet and you have to almost have your mouth against it to hear anything from the speaker.
This is the second one of these I have bought. My granddaughter loves music and this is full of music and books that go with the music. She wore the first one out and we had to buy a secon one. Great for any child who likes to sing.
Toddler loves this to sing with. Saving the books for later when she is older.

This was the most disappointing purchase as it was obviously a USED item, package had been opened and cord severed. It was inoperable and the item was returned!
Got this as a gift unfortunately, mic works on and off ; couple stupid songs per book that are couple sentences long and you have no idea how to follow the 10sec song to the sentenses. A real rip off!
